Installing it

  1. Download RafaBox.dmg

    It lands in your Downloads folder.

  2. Drag RafaBox into Applications

    Open the .dmg and drag the RafaBox icon onto the Applications folder beside it.

  3. Open it

    Open RafaBox from Applications. The first time, macOS asks you to confirm; see the note on this page.

  4. Your trial starts

    A note says your 30-day trial has started, and Rafa walks you through the box. Switch on the parts you want, and pick a few starter workflows if you like.

Opening it the first time

This build isn’t notarised by Apple yet, so macOS asks before it opens. You only need to do this once. Either:

  • In Applications, right-click (or Control-click) RafaBox, choose Open, then Open again.
  • Or try to open it once, then go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway.

What you need

A Mac with macOS 14 or later. Rewrite with Siri also needs macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on.

Permissions, and why

RafaBox asks for as little as it can, and only when a feature you switched on needs it.

Accessibility

Only for direct paste and automatic scrolling capture. To use them, choose Allow direct paste in RafaBox’s Settings and approve RafaBox in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility. Without it, RafaBox copies your pick and you press ⌘V yourself.

Screen Recording

macOS asks for this the first time a capture runs: a screenshot, a recording or a Scoop. The Quick Overlay, search and copying need neither permission.

What happens on day 30

RafaBox goes read-only. Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked away: your history stays browsable, searchable and copyable. New capturing, screenshots, Scoop, the tools and workflows pause until you pick a plan.

  1. Pick a plan

    Monthly, Yearly or Own it on the pricing page. They all unlock the same app.

  2. Sign in

    In RafaBox, open Settings > License, choose Sign in with email and type the 6-digit code we send to the address you paid with.
